Venice is the city where You literally can dream with Your eyes opened . As Thomas Mann says ” It’ s half fairy tale and half tourist trap “, It gets to Your heart and It stays forever . Venice is art, art made by men and by nature ; Its sky shows the best sunsets I have ever seen so far . You can do nothing but stare at such a beautiful city.

Venezia come ho già scritto è la città dove si può sognare ancora, metà fiaba e metà trappola come dice Thomas Mann…ti entra nel cuore e non vi esce più.
Il cielo di Venezia offre degli spettacoli meravigliosi al tramonto, scene pittoresche che non ho mai visto in nessun altro luogo, una tavolozza di colori dove l’arte creata dall’uomo e quella della natura si fondono, dando origine a capolavori di fronte ai quali non puoi fare altro che rimanere a bocca aperta.
Nature makes Venice even better than turists use to think, the fog makes It mysterious, gloomy , sometimes sad. . . You feel like You’ re in a different world and even though most of people don ‘ t like “the foggy Venice”, I do! I just loved walking through the ” calli” and go over the Accademia bridge to see the fog wrapping everything .
Quando “madre natura” decide di farsi notare a Venezia, il risultato è sempre meraviglioso!D’inverno la nebbia rende la città misteriosa, malinconica,triste a tratti. . .si viene catapultati in un mondo a parte, e nonostante in molti non amino questo aspetto della città, io penso sia uno dei migliori!Quando la nebbia è a Venezia,camminare per le calli, godermi il panorama dal ponte dell’Accademia ascoltando la musica giusta, è bellissimo.

Poi c’è l’acqua alta…la città viene sommersa dall’acqua e anche in questo caso si è catapultati in un mondo a parte!

Infine c’è la neve…Io AMO la neve…quindi si può solo immaginare quale effetto mi faccia Venezia coperta da un manto bianco .

E quando lasciamo Venezia scopriamo che i nostri orologi hanno problemi a tornare di nuovo al tempo reale.

Ultimo giorno a Venezia e chissà se è un arrivederci o un addio.
PRACTICAL INFO:
1- If You’ re in Venice for at least 5 days I recomend to visit the island of Burano , It’ s small but very nice and unique . The island is the most colorful place I have ever seen, there is also a very nice place just in front of the “imbarcadero” where You can eat yummy seafood .
1- Se programmate di stare a Venezia per più di 5 giorni, raccomando di visitare l’sola di Burano. Credo sia il posto più colorato che abbia mai visto! L’ isola non è molto grande ma unica nel suo genere, consiglio anche di assaggiare le fritture di pesce nel baretto proprio di fronte all’ imbarcadero .
2- TONOLO is a must if You are in Venice, It is a very old bakery where You can taste the best pastries in the city, It is also very cheap : 1 euro each pastry . The only bad thing about It is that You ‘ re not able to sit as people use to drink their coffee and eat standing .
2-Se sei a Venezia, devi assolutamente andare da TONOLO, la pasticceria più antica e buona della città. L e paste sono ottime e davvero economiche, solo 1 euro alla pasta . L’unica cosa negativa è che si è costretti a bere il caffè e a mangiare in piedi perchè non vi sono posti a sedere .
3- CAMPO SANTA MARGHERITA is where young people usually meet at night and drink togheter . The drink called “SPRITZ” is a must!
3- Il posto in cui i giovani si riuniscono per bere qualcosa è CAMPO SANTA MARGHERITA. Bere uno SPRITZ è un dovere !
