THE MONKEY FOREST
The second day I was in Ubud, I decided to visit the Monkey Forest. I had heard horrible stories about monkeys jumping on people ‘s back, biting them and stealing sparkling things from them and I was kind of worried. I took off all of my bracelets and earring ( and people that know me know I never take them off because they’re too many) and walked to the forest. The entrance was 30.000 Rpe and You can actually see the monkeys even before getting into the forest because they walk around the street looking for food. First day in Indonesia
First night & day in Indonesia gone! First thing I noticed once I got off of the plane was the strong spicy smell and the boiling hot air, I liked the first one and I hated the second one, especially because I was wearing winter trousers (the only pair that didn’t fit in my backpack) a jumper and holding at least 18Kg on my shoulders. It took me a while to find my driver(I managed to have someone to pick me up and take me to the hotel), I’ve been offered deals by at least 15 taxi drivers and I finally found my man after half an hour.
