Tim and I had a quick shower and went to the kitchen of the hostel to have breakfast, as in a lot of hostels in Asia, breakfast was toast with butter but we also tried the popular coconut jam called Kaya. I was in Portugal for few days but I did fall in love with the country, I definitely want to go back and find out more about the culture! One of the first things I have visited here in Melbourne, is the zoo . I wanted to see kangaroos so badly that It was ok for me to see them in a cage (I know, It’ s so sad) . Ok, here’s the thing about Sintra : I found out about this wonderful place looking at my Spanish host mum’s pictures (thanks again Marta). I saw the beautiful colours of the buildings and thought ” I MUST GO THERE”. I was very excited about It but….apparently I wasn’t supposed to see the bright colours 🙁 infact I visited Sintra on a very FOGGY DAY! (I was so mad!!!).
