My first crazy day in Yogyakarta

When I left Bali to go to Java I was not expecting adventures 24/7, I thought I would have taken my time and relaxed a bit but every single day on the island was unexpectedly crazy! I arrived in Yogyakarta the 28th of February, I left my backpack in the hostel and went to explore the city straight away. The first impression was not that good, I did not feel safe and the heat was killing me even if it was only 9 am. First day in Indonesia

First night & day in Indonesia gone! First thing I noticed once I got off of the plane was the strong spicy smell and the boiling hot air, I liked the first one and I hated the second one, especially because I was wearing winter trousers (the only pair that didn’t fit in my backpack) a jumper and holding at least 18Kg on my shoulders. It took me a while to find my driver(I managed to have someone to pick me up and take me to the hotel), I’ve been offered deals by at least 15 taxi drivers and I finally found my man after half an hour.
