Teaching english in Bali

I love kids, that’s why I enjoy to be an au pair so much, I really wanted to go to a school while I was in Bali, I just didn’t know how to get in one. The manager of the hostel where I was staying suggested me to just go to the local school and talk to the main teacher and ask him if I could teach English to the kids for a couple of hours. I did it and everyone was so happy to have someone to help the kids improving, Indonesian people are very curious about us, they love getting into contact with us, especially if we can teach them something good. THE MONKEY FOREST

The second day I was in Ubud, I decided to visit the Monkey Forest. I had heard horrible stories about monkeys jumping on people ‘s back, biting them and stealing sparkling things from them and I was kind of worried. I took off all of my bracelets and earring ( and people that know me know I never take them off because they’re too many) and walked to the forest. The entrance was 30.000 Rpe and You can actually see the monkeys even before getting into the forest because they walk around the street looking for food. Cooking class in Bali

I am Italian and of course I love food, I love cooking it and eating it and I think it is important to be open to other flavors. That’s why I have decided to attend a cooking class in Ubud, Bali. The class is organized by a Balinese chef that owns a farm in the countryside, the good thing about it is that you pick up all the ingredients you need to cook in the farm and you actually know what you’re going to eat.
